The Honey Brook Fire Company (Chester County Station 33) is placing into service a 1989 Pierce Dash Rescue.
This 8 man unit is equipped with a 35 kw generator,
15,000 watts of fixed lighting,
3,000 watts of portable lighting,
a 6,000 watt 30 light tower,
4 200 electric cord reels,
a 2 kw portable generator with 500 watts of lighting.
Unit is also equipped with a 4 cylinder 6000 lb. cascade with 2040 cf of air.
A 200 cascade supplied air reel,
a 150 truck compressor supplied air reel,
A full complement of confined space equipment including 2 supplied air respirators, tripod, and ventilation ducting.
A full complement of Hurst hydraulic rescue tools including 2 110v power units, a 2 cycle portable power unit, 2 Extractor O cutters, a Maverick combination tool, a straight blade combination tool, 27 spreaders, 2 20 rams, 2 30 rams, and 2 60 rams with various attachment kits, and cribbing.
Unit has a MSA multi-gas meter,
a Scott CO meter,
heat gun,
various hand tools for rescue and fireground support,
8 MSA airpacks,
water rescue gear,
ropes and rigging gear,
an oxy-acetylene cutting torch,
chain and cable come-alongs with rigging gear,
4 and 10 ton porta-power kits,
spill control equipment,
ventilation fans,
rescue and ventilation saws,
110v and 12v sawz-alls.
Traffic and crowd control equipment.
Command Center with low, high, and 800mhz radios.
Salvage tarps and pump.
28 of ladders.
Front and rear winches with rigging gear,
picketts and various fire extinguishers.
Unit will be designated Rescue 33.
