Of the two co's that cover Amity Twp, I would have expected 49 to get an aerial device.

It amazes me with fire depts in this county these days, they are either buying rescue tools to put rescue on the side of their trucks, or they are buying aerial devices.

News flash, RESCUE covers more than just vehicle rescues.

HELL NO!!!! WE ARE KEEPING TOWER 7 ON... were keeping Ladder 15 on for the other side.. and were keeping Ladder 1 on for the Yellow House side... Hell for Douglass it's still Ladder 15 or Ladder 69 (Montco) Our run cards will stay the same..

One idea was.. (REMEMBER IDEA!! NOT HAPPENING YET) was.. to get a new RESCUE/Pumper... or turn our 87 Pierce into a Rescue... or turn that into a Pipeline.... (Pipeline 49 !!) Basically everything i've been hearing has basically been sending the good ole Tanker 49 bye bye.. and awaiting Truck 49... (love the sound of that) but these are all speculations...

Honestly I'd like to see.. New Rescue 49... Goodbye Tanker.. Old pierce stays as backup engine/tanker (1750 tank).. or converts to Pipeline.. and finally... Truck 49.. (and of course keeping E49)... That's my um... dream..

This company has NEVER had their fire pumps tested, certified, or PM'd. And they are getting a ladder. An e-one none the less. If you don't maintain an E-One, they will fall apart. And some people say that they will even if you maintain them.... oh well... another discussion....

Congrats to Bechtelsville and Monocacy on the new orders.

Company 6...it seems your neighbors have the perfect fire companies, maybe they can give you hand training on your new piece and possibly others.

I'm from a fire co that was often (and still may be) looked upon as inferior. I'm not saying this is the case with Co 6, but if your neighbors are so great, why aren't they helping you achieve that same greatness?

PS- I'm not familiar with this area, these companies, etc.....but it appears like the little guy is getting bullied here and I wanted to stick up for them.
