The Goshen Fire Company is currently accepting resumes for the position of:

FIREFIGHTER/EMT FULL-TIME)



Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Five (5) years minimum related Emergency Services experience
• Valid Pennsylvania Drivers License – Class C
• Experience driving and operating fire apparatus and EMS vehicles
• Pass a fitness examination and drug screening
• Commitment to participation in GFC training programs

• Required Certifications
o Firefighter I Certification - Pennsylvania Office of State Fire Commissioner OR National (NBFSPQ or IFSAC)
o Firefighter II Certification - Pennsylvania Office of State Fire Commissioner OR National (NBFSPQ or IFSAC)
o Valid Pennsylvania DOH Emergency Medical Technician Certification – EMT-B
o Valid CPR Card with Automatic External Defibrillation (AED)

• Required Training
o Incident Command System (NIMS)
o Emergency Vehicle Operations – EVOC
o Basic Vehicle Rescue Technician
o Hazardous Materials – Operations
o Pump Operations
