FIRE TRAINING FACILITY
SUPERINTENDENT

The County of Berks is accepting applications for Superintendent of the Berks County Fire Training Center. The Superintendent is a management level employee of Berks County Emergency Management who is primarily responsible for all aspects of facility and program management at the Berks County Fire Training Center. Applicants should have a strong background in the fire service with demonstrated experience in safety management and physical plant management. Computer knowledge (Windows environment) is necessary. Candidates possessing, or having made considerable progress toward, certification as a PA State Fire Academy Suppression Instructor are highly desired. CDL B and hazardous materials response experience is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits are provided.
