While we're on the subject, can someone tell my WHY blue lights are becoming more common on fire apparatus?

I was at the Harrisburg show this year and saw a quint from North Jersey,..ALL blue lights,..blue strobes, blue flashers, blue everything.

Do a search on youtube for "Newark NJ Fire" and you'll see their apparatus has gone to red and blues.

WTF??
